With an expected release date in the third quarter of 2010, the Nokia E5 is a great example of a QWERTY phone with a list of features which looks sure to appeal to all sorts of users ranging from music fans to business users.

The Nokia E5 utilises a 2.4 inch TFT screen can display up to 256K colours within a pixel layout of 240x 320.  This results in good definition and clarity of both the user interface in onscreen content making it ideal for viewing photos and video files.

A relatively compact handset, the Nokia E5 measures 115x 58.9x 12.8 mm and weighs in at a pocket friendly 126 g.  The appearance of the handset could be described as functional, with an air of simplicity about it.  However, the handset also offers aesthetic appeal to style conscious users who also view their phone as a fashion statement.  This is thanks to the availability of a number of colour variants of the handset ranging from carbon black, chalk white, sky blue, copper brown and silver grey.

The Nokia E5 comes with an integrated digital camera boasting 5 mega pixels.  The resulting images of this camera are of very high quality, and the task of taking photos is simplified thanks to fixed focus and an LED flash so low lighting conditions are not a problem.  The camera also boasts the ability to shoot video footage in VGA quality at a rate of 15 frames per second, offering an alternative method of image capture.  And

Alongside the standard 250 MB of internal storage, an integrated micro SD slot is provided which has a pre-installed 2 GB memory card, however this can be replaced with a card of up to 32 GB offering plenty of storage for data such as documents, photos, and video and music files.

The Nokia E5 ticks all the boxes in terms of aesthetic appeal as well as everyday functionality.  The fact that it offers appeal to a range of users means its success looks assured upon its upcoming release date.
