Overview

Most of the specifications of the Brother MFC-7360N are not up to par with what is normally expected from business printers these days. However,Brother MFC-7360N Review Articles if you’re looking for an economical printer to use at home, or, if your small business doesn’t require a lot of high volume, high quality printing, this printer may be a more than adequate alternative for you. After all, you can certainly save yourself some money by not purchasing a more powerful printer than you really need.

Pros

One of the reasons this printer is such an economical option is that it is capable of performing more tasks for you than just printing. Since it’s a multi-purpose machine, it can also send (and receive) faxes, scan documents and images (and convert them into various formats), and make copies. Typically, people who are looking for a machine to use at home don’t need to do those tasks very often, but owners of this machine will be able to do any of those things whenever the need arises. Plus, buying this printer is certainly a lot cheaper than buying all of those devices separately.

Another advantage of the Brother MFC-7360N is that compared to all of the other similarly-priced printers on the market, this comes as close as you can get to professional print quality. Specifically, the print resolution of this model is 2400 dots per inch by 600, and professional quality resolution would be 1200 X 1200 dpi.

Finally, another thing we like about this printer is that you can connect it to a wired home network through a built in Ethernet card. Therefore, it doesn’t matter which computer on that network you need to print from, you’ll be able to do so with ease. Not only that, you’ll be able to receive scanned images and faxes from the printer to all of those computers also.

Cons

Of course, as we alluded to before, just as there are some things we like about the Brother MFC-7360N, there are also some things we don’t like about it. One of those things is the fact that you can’t purchase additional paper trays or memory for it. With more expensive printers, you can. Still, it can already hold two hundred fifty sheets of paper and thirty-two megabytes of memory out of the box, and for the vast majority of home uses, that’s enough. It’s also a little slow, but unless you need to print hundreds of pages at a time, its speed (or lack thereof) is probably not an issue.
