D. The ethernet1 interface indicated is on the next-hop router.

E. This is a default static route.

CCNP Certification / BCMSN Exam:

CCNP / ONT Exam:

B. All out-of-profile packets are dropped

C. Only incoming traffic can be policed

D. Only outgoing traffic can be policed

E. Both incoming and outgoing traffic can be policed

Here are the answers!

CCNA:   None of the CDP defaults have been changed.   The Cisco Discovery Protocol is enabled both globally and on all interfaces by default, but for security reasons this default is often changed. You should know how to do so on both a global and per-interface basis for your CCNA exam, too!

CCENT:  C. The ip route command shown is valid, and the mask is shown in correct form. The specified interface is the local exit interface. This is not a default static route - such an ip route statement would have all zeroes for the network and the mask.

CCNA Security / ISCW Exam:  You can run TCP interfcept in intercept or passive mode.

CCNP / BSCI Exam:  A, D. You can have multiple successor and feasible successor routes in the EIGRP topology table.

CCNP / BCMSN Exam:  Use the following configuration to carry this task out. You don't have to specify VLAN 1, since you can't delete or block traffic on that specific VLAN to begin with.

interface FastEthernet0/12

switchport trunk allowed vlan 100,200

CCNP / ONT Exam:  A, E. With traffic policing, you have the option of dropping packets or re-marking them. You can also police traffic as it enters or exits the router.
