There are many benefits to finding a cheap microphone. Not only in terms of price, but microphones are very useful accessories to have.

They allow hands free communication for things like gaming,Cheap microphones Articles Skype or for recording and using voice recognition software.  Using a microphone to talk online to friends of family if they are over-seas means that you will not be creating a massive phone bill.  Cheap microphonesmainly come in to types.  There are head-sets, which are mainly used by gamers or call centres.  And there are also stand alone microphones. Let’s look at one of each

Firstly, head-sets.  The LOGIK LH212O Headset comes in a range of colours and is available to buy for about £10 to £15.  It a noise-cancelling microphone, so it gets rid of background noises and it provides all-encompassing audio and a comfortable fit.  The ear cups are cushioned and the head band can be adjusted.  Importantly, it is Skype compatible (though not Skype certified), so you are able to talk freely online.  This is a very cheap microphone headset, other products can reach well over £100.

The LOGIK LDM10 is a standalone microphone that is about £10.  There isn’t too much to say about it other than it is compatible with most computers, so it is a versatile and cheap microphone.  The benefit of having a standalone microphone is that is best if you have a group of people wanting to chat online- i.e. if you’re calling family.  Others can hear your call as you don’t have headphones to create privacy.  If you do want privacy then it is obviously better to go with a head-set.

Cheap keyboard

If you want a cheap keyboard at the lowest possible price, then there are lots out there for less than £5 if you don’t mind it being wired.  A simple search on Google and you will find many cheap keyboards, some used and some new, for as little as £1.  Of course, you must expect to pay more if you want a wireless keyboard, so let’s look at what is out there for a wireless cheap keyboard.  The following keyboards are for PCs, though they might be compatible with MACs but check before your purchase.

The Logitech Wireless Keyboard K360 Colour Collection is a fun, colourful and cheap keyboard.  It has a graffiti style and is priced at around the £13 mark.  It has a ‘Hot Keys’function which can is a short cut to multimedia, programmes and volume.  It is a nice little compact keyboard, great for kids or teenagers.

For something a bit more grownup there is the Microsoft 2.4GHz Wireless Keyboard 800 2VJ-00001 for around the same price of £13, but that is on eBay.  I have found it on other sites for about £20.  This cheap keyboard is a sleek black colour.  It has a quiet keys function which, as it says, limits the noise so you are not disturbing others.  For a cheap keyboard you are getting a quality brand.
