Computer Data recovery- essentials guidelines

Here I this articles I have tried give you the entire user with the techniques to recover the data from your computer hard drive. There are basically three techniques: 1st Data Recovery after Operating System Failure, 2nd Data Recovery after a Mechanical Failure and 3rd Data Recovery after a Software Control Failure.

The most common parlance for the computer user with time has come out to be the data loss or date corruption. Say you were doing your office work or your assignment and you were almost done, but suddenly you get your files deleted by mistakes? So now you would simply panic and get frustrated, because you deployed you hours of hard working for the work and it turned out to be in vain, but no worries, because data which are already saved on your computer get deleted can be recovered from your computer can be recovered.

But let me make you all clear here only the saved files of your computer can be recovered because whatever files are saved on your computer hard drive can be recovered, and if your doing any work currently and didn’t save the files, all those files are stored on your RAM so will be irrecoverable. It means you will never get those files back, if it’s not saved. So what I will do here is provide you all the user of computer how to recover all the files saved on your computer. So shall we proceed, with data recovery process?

It can be basically done in 3 possible ways, if you are well aware of computer; than you should also know the basic computer maintenance techniques and some computer maintenance tools can help a lot here for recovering the data.

1. Data Recovery after Operating System Failure: An operating system failure is a failure to recognize your hard drive; this usually shows as a Disk Boot Failure error message on start up. If this happens, and you have the boot disk that should have come with your PC, insert that to boot from the floppy disk or CD instead. Have a look around now, once you have your PC booted, you will have a prompt on the screen. Enter c: to swap drives, then enter "dir" to view the data on your hard drive. Hopefully the data on your will be intact, showing that the problem is with your operating system. Back up any critical data, and then reinstall your operating system.

2. Data Recovery after a Mechanical Failure: An imminent mechanical disc failure announces itself by your hard drive making unexpected noises while accessing data. If you hear any, it is probably a mechanical failure of one of the many components in your hard drive. If this happens do not try to service the drive yourself! Return it to the manufacturer for data recovery, especially if it is still under warranty. Often the problem is with the software connected with your hard drive. The most common problem here is fortunately very simple to solve; the backup battery on your motherboard dies causing your PC to forget the settings that control your hard drive. Data recovery is then a case of replacing the battery on your motherboard and manually re-entering the settings. Follow directions from your handbook when re-entering the settings at boot up.

3. Data Recovery after a Software Control Failure: The menu is commonly reached by holding down the F10, Del or Esc keys during the boot process, or it may be via a disk provided by the manufacturer. Work through the menu options until you find your hard drive settingsFree Web Content, and you will find an option to automatically detect the correct settings. Select this to reset the controls.
