A Microsoft Outlook PST can grow considerably large because of continuous incoming and outgoing e-mail messages. An ANSI formatted PST is allowed to have utmost 65, 535 items per folder and maximum size of 2 GB. To locate the folder, you need to:
(1) Go to 'Navigation Pane'.
(2) Expand the entry named 'Search Folder'.
(3) Click 'Large Mail' search folder.

(1) Click 'File' menu and point to 'New' in 'Mail' tab.
(2) Click 'Search Folder'.
(3) In section named 'Organizing Mail' of 'Select a Search Folder', click 'Large Mail'.
After finding the e-mails with large file attachments or graphics, you can delete them. Keep in mind to empty the 'Deleted Items' folder and then compact the PST file after this. The size of PST will remain the same if you do not compact it.
