For software developers, providing support to your users is an important element of your business. Some would say that the best support would be the one where the user doesn't have to contact you at all, and in terms of convenience to users and savings to you, this is true. However, it can be costly to implement, as you will need to have staff available at least during regular business hours, whose function will be to answer calls from your clients. But if you only have a few dozen people that use your products, it could still be possible if you're a relatively small company.

This can be combined with any of the support methods mentioned above and is a great way of boosting user satisfaction with your offerings. By making use of remote control tools, you can remotely access the user's system and make any adjustments or corrections needed to make your software function properly.
