HP TouchPad Tablet – Is The TouchPad Worth Your Money?

Although the hp TouchPad tablet is a new member of the tablet market and nothing close to the other available tablets like the iPad and Galaxy, but still it worth a look and is gaining more popularity by time. Yes it is not the best but it has some features that are not found in other tablet, which may make many people prefer it over other tablets.

If you had an iPad then you should be aware of its lake of flash support, you cannot run videos and some images on the browser of an iPad. Hp TouchPad offered a solution for this problem as it is able to run flash. So if you use your browser a lot of then you may prefer the TouchPad over other tablets.

The TouchPad comes in two options of storage, the 16 GB and the 32 GB. This is not a PC so even if you decided to get the 16 GB TouchPad it will work very well.

The screen of the TouchPad is one of the good features in it. It has a 9.7 inches LED screen that have clear and bright colors, comparing to the screen of the iPad 2 this screen is very good and show clear views from different angles. Of course it is a touch screen as it is obvious from the name of the tablet, you can call it a multi-touch screen. Actually it is a good experience when you finish working on an app and you don’t need it opened any more all you have to do is to through it and it will close.

The TouchPad use the webOS 3.0 as the operating system. This system enables you to work on multiple tasks at the same time. So move from task to another and group related tasks.

Hp synergy: this feature is very good for those who don’t know how to organize and manage their personal and work emails, facebook, google and MS exchange. You can open more than one email at the same time either separately or together.

Do you like to listen to music a lot? If  yes then this might be your right choice tablet. The TouchPad tablet’s sound is outstanding, the sound is clear even when you put it flat on the desk. May be it will be muffled when you hold it in the portrait position but still it is clear and loud enough to be heard.

It has a 1.3 pixels camera on the front, the camera is good with video calling. You have a full screen view of the one you are calling and a smaller view of you. Skype is already installed for you on the TouchPad, so you can skype your friends in video chat once you get your TouchPad.

Another thing that makes it a good and flexible experience with the TouchPad is the snapshots, once you receive an email or anything else you get a snapshot letting you know what is happening then you decide to deal with it now or later.
