You might remember the hot and mouth-watering game Ice Cream Craze
released last summer. This new release takes place some years later -
and offers some significant twists in game play.

Anna's grandmother, used to have the best ice-cream shop in town once.
But BigCo, the giant corporation, came and gradually took over the whole
dessert industry. Monopoly is not good for anyone except the
monopolist, and Anna decides to compete with the corporation and prove
her ice-cream can be even better. An old Ice Cream Truck for sale comes
in really handy...
As you understand, there is nothing special about the story here. But
the game play offers some strategy twists that make the game a bit more
than just a time-management game.
First of all, you are given a general goal which will let you compete with BigCo - 5000
dollars and level 3 stands in each location. You will have 9 locations,
unlocked one after another. Each location will offer you some
challenges, and once you have more than one unlocked location, you'll be
able to choose which challenge to try. But trying a challenge will cost
you money, and if you fail it you won't get your money back, so be
careful in what you choose. Of course, winning each challenge will give
you some prize, revealed beforehand, so you can make your decisions
based on what you need most. Some prizes are money or different
upgrades, some unlock new locations or give you a stand. Your stands
(one at each location) bring you money everyday no matter what happens.
Each
challenge is a single day you spend in your truck. Here you'll have
customers coming to you. The types of customers depends on the location
you choose for the challenge, and each type has some favorite ice-cream
variants. As to the equipment, you have three conveyors with cones,
cookies and ice-cream scoops of different flavors coming to you, and
this is the main difficulty here, as you have to plan beforehand which
ingredients to take in order to be able to reach the necessary ones
later, as you can take them only in the order in which they appear. Of
course, you have some plates to store the unnecessary food, but they are
limited in number. There are also topping machines which add toppings
of three different kinds to your ice-cream. Surely, there are also
upgrades like espresso machine or cakes that give Anna a speed boost,
increase your customers' patience or make the money stay on the counter
longer.
Tip: be very careful in creating your desserts, or
you'll have to recycle them and lose your energy. And once you are out
of energy - you fail your challenge.
The graphics of the game are very cartoonish and cute, and the whole
style is very pleasant. So, if you are looking for a nice
time-management game to try, Ice Cream Craze: Tycoon Takeover could be a
great choice!
