So these forms can be modified by any user who even doesn’t have any programming knowledge, with the data available within the SAP systems for different business processes available.
One program will be enough .to issue a print of a particular form which will retrieve the entire data, and this can be done by Smart Form which will use the underlying logic. The form logic & data retrieval are completely separated, one has to implement the Smart From if any changes to the logic has to be made. The data will be passed by an application program through a functional module to the Smart Form. While activating the Smart Form, a default functional module is automatically created. During the runtime of the program, this functional module will be processed the system.
The data can be fed into two different types of table that is static and dynamic, which will include line feeds in the cell of a table, it will also include triggers to proceed for table headings & subtotals. One can verify an individual node & the complete form, while looking for any error it the tree structure of the form. The value of the data fields will be checked whether it is distinct or not by data flow analysis check. This will be done when the values are displayed. One of the distinguished feature of Smart Forms is the option to include graphics, which can be displayed as part of the form or as a background graphics. A data stream is provided by Smart Forms which is known as XML for Smart Forms (XSF), which can be used by 3rd party printing tools. The primary function of the XSF is to pass the data from R/3 to an external product without passing any underlying information regarding Smart Form.
