Tablets have been around for quite some time, but have never been able to gain significant market share of the computer market. Apple took this challenge and came out with a revolutionary product called iPad which opened better ways of productivity.

The major problem with the newspaper is that the news in it gets out of date by the time it reaches us. Thus for a frequent traveler,iPad, News and Newspapers Articles getting up to date information through local sources can be a really difficult job. However, with the advent of Wi-Fi networks, people can get latest news and information by using their gadgets. Steve Jobs, the CEO of Apple saw the future of communication in iPad and it came out to be a huge success.

For those living under a rock, the iPad weighs less than one kg and is very thin. Battery life is also said to be incredible on the iPad. Infact, the battery power of the iPad clearly surpass any laptop out there. Apple claims around 10 hours of runtime on a single charge and if that is enough, there are plenty of accessories out there in the market that let you double and in some cases, even triple those runtimes. The Cupertino company also promises up to 30 days of standby time.

Many said, iPad would not be kill netbooks and mini laptops, but they were all proved wrong when Apple revealed the sales figures of the iPad which revealed that the company was able to sell more than twelve million units in less than nine months period. Clearly, iPad is here to stay for the man and woman on the move.
