Or even Great Plains Accounting for DOS,Microsoft Dynamics GP Support in San Diego and Orange County California Articles Windows or Macintosh: 9.5, 9.2, 9.1 and earlier, the help might be just around the corner or if you prefer web sessions and phone conferences - we are ready to help.  In this small publication we would like to share with you some Dynamics GP Great Plains implementation, customization programming, integration, reporting and data conversion techniques which we found useful in Southern California: LA, Orange County and San Diego:
1. Microsoft Dynamics GP for Startups and firms, backed by venture capital, including small and micro capitalizations.  As you are trying to avoid upfront cost, you may take advantage from Microsoft Dynamics GP software license lease program.  Second observation - startups are typically driven by business innovators and new business processes enthusiasts, where traditional Corporate ERP, MRP and Accounting systems are lagging behind and may not provide desired functionality for your startup "dream".  This is why we are recommending you to review Dynamics GP customization, modification, integration and reporting tools: Microsoft Dexterity, eConnect (especially in eCommerce and advanced EDI integration scenarios), Extender (if you are trying to stick to low budget it pursuing Dynamics GP customizations, where you feel that Great Plains Dexterity is too expensive approach), Dynamics GP Integration Manager (for ongoing quasi real time integrations and one time data conversions and migrations)
2. Telecommunication industry, including non standard telecommunication service providers.  Air time and customer billing is critical, especially when you have to download and integrate customer activity from your telecommunication wholesalers.  Methods may be based on Web Services or more traditional technologies, such as HTTP requests and responses.  Here typically you are selecting between Great Plains Integration Manager (where integration is initiated on demand) or eConnect custom integration application (where integration could be scheduled)
3. Freight Forwarding and Distribution industries.  For Freight Forwarders we recommend Agent Settlement Report to be built on Microsoft Dynamics GP customer vendor consolidation module.  Distributors are likely facing the challenge to automate Warehouse management with barcode scanners, potentially with integration to Microsoft RMS (Retail Management System), or another POS (Point of Sale application, such as Counterpoint, Quick Books, Navision)
4. Government and Military subcontractors and Microsoft Dynamics GP.  Here we are comfortable in Great Plains Analytical Accounting, Project Accounting, GP Human Resources.  We should be ready to implement Great Plains Dynamics GP for government agency in San Diego, including military
5. San Diego Spanish and Mexican connection.  Spanish (Espanol) is important if you are relaying on seasonal workers from Mexico or Central and South America.  There are exporters from Chile, Argentina (especially wine making industry), where documents produced from Dynamics GP with some Spanish support are recommended
6. Microsoft Dynamics GP in Orange County California.  Orange County is extremely diversified in its business community representation, special attention to Irvine, CA.  eCommerce for food chain stores (Taco Bell), would be great example for possible Microsoft Dynamics GP customization
7. If you are expanding from San Diego to Brazil.  In Brazil people speak Brazilian Portuguese, which is not the same as European Continental Portuguese.  We are not ready to name Brazilian Portuguese as Creole, but in fact the language in Brazil is very different from the Portuguese in Portugal.  Microsoft Dynamics GP is not localized for Brazilian ERP market.  We recommend you to consider either Microsoft Dynamics AX (formerly known as Axapta), or SAP Business One (especially when your Brazilian facility is small or mid-size, where Corporate ERP budget might be too small for AX)
