As my files are important personal and business data that I could not afford to lose, I have to recover them. But now the problem is that I completely have no idea about Google drive data recovery. If you have any suggestion about how to recover data from Google drive, please help!

How to restore deleted data from Google Drive

Google Drive is an Android APP on Google Play that used by most users for online storage. Everyone can get started with it for free and have all the files within reach from any smartphone, tablet, or computer. All files in Drive – like videos, photos, and documents – are backed up safely. In this case, this application is much helpful for data security. Whenever you deleted your data, you can recover it from Google Drive. Why?

When you delete a file you own in Google Drive on the web, it moves to the Trash (which you can access by clicking on More in the list on the left). Similarly, if you've downloaded Google Drive for PC/Mac, you can delete an item you own by moving it to your computer's trash (which will also move the item to Trash in Drive on the web). In both cases, Trash is never automatically emptied, so you can restore the file from Trash using Google Drive on the web at any time unless you permanently delete it (learn more about Trash). Here is the guide.

Step 1. Go to the Trash in Google Drive on the web.

Step 2. Select the file(s) you'd like to restore.

Step 3. Click Restore to get back your lost data.
