Toshiba has announced the upgraded version of R700, 13.3-inch thin laptop Portege R830. Except adhering to the thinness, portability, solidness and  the

can choose from red and black versions. It is expected that the new version can be available on the market in this April.

To make the customers excited Toshiba also announced the 14-inch Tecra R840 and 15.6-inch Tecra R850 together with R830. They are similar to R830 in

design, moreover, they have the independent graphics lacked by R830, thus they are even better in the video game  effect.

The overall upgrade of Toshiba R series provides much more size selection. The newly released Portege R830 is equipped with the USB 3.0 interface, 

carrying with the newest Intel Sandy Bridge processor. And the models include Intel Core i3-2310M (2.3GHz), Core i5-2410M (2.3-2.9GHz), Core i5-2520M (2.5-

3.2GHz) and the most advanced Core i7-2620M (2.7-3.4GHz) processor.

In the Toshiba R series, except Tecra R840 the other models have red and balck covers for choice, adding some fashionable flavor. Furthermore, the

resolution  of R 830, R 840 and R 850 is 1366*768 pixels.

Last July Toshiba released 13.3-inch Portege R700 which has built-in cd-room with the 1.4 kg weight and the 16.8-25.6 mm thickness. But, as the  upgraded

version of R700, R 830 is comparably cheap with the overall upgrade.
