SAP Business One Consulting USA Nationwide: Workbench, SDK, Crystal Reports, eCommerce

In fact, SAP Business One is currently enjoying small business Corporate ERP implementation parade in the USA, Canada, South, Central America and Caribbean.  Current version of SB1 is 8.8, just released in April of 2010.  This small publication is dedicated to the initial highlights of SAP B1 technology:
1. SB1 Data Conversion.  If you are already disappointed in SAP B1 Data Transfer Workbench - we are definitely with you and respect your opinion, however we would like to revisit this topic. Please note that Workbench was traditionally included in SAP Business One Certification training and final exam, where certified consultants were required to demonstrate successful data import into SB1 from CSV (coma delimited text files).  Import is obviously trivial, but it is not the reason to disqualify the Workbench from being able to carry more complex SAP B1 integrations and initial data conversions
2. SAP Business One Out Of the Box.  Please try to be sort of conservative and double check your original SAP Business One Partner suggestions to purchase and deploy third party tools (IBolt, various  SB1 SDK add-ons).  SAP B1 is powerful enough as it is out of the box. There are numerous SB1 certified consultants out there, but if your case requires custom business logic, you should check if your local consultant carries SAP Business One SDK certification license
3. SAP Business One Reporting.  At this time, April 2010 Crystal reports are recommended.  You can also do direct SQL select statement and view to SB1 company database.  Heterogeneous SQL selection statement are also possible, especially when you are trying to combine query results from Oracle, Linux/PHP/MySQL.  In SB1 virtually everything is exportable to MS Excel.  Please note that FRx financial reporting is not available for SB1
4. SB1 eCommerce integration.  We typically recommend you conservative approach first - Workbench (where you can schedule ODBC data integration automatically directly from your legacy Corporate ERP database)
5. SAP Business One Local support.  We are definitely happy to travel and visit your office.  You might be too conservative and require local presence.  No problem - we have local offices in Los Angeles, San Diego,  Orange County, Chicago, Houston
6. SAP B1 Nationwide support via web sessions.  If your implementation was screwed or you have unhappy experience with local consultants, feel free to seek for second opinion.  Maybe in your situation you got implementation done and now you are looking for more technology challenging project: EDI integration, eCommerce, customization, advanced reporting - all these are good candidates for SAP Business One Technology Partner
7. SB1 ecommerce integration and programming.  If you have functional ecommerce website and you would like to call real time transaction integration from there - you should consider SAP Business One SDK programming (typically in Microsoft Visual Studio C# or VB.Net)
