If you haven't gone anywhere during the summer yet, you have a great opportunity to do a trip to an isolated island. But of course there is more than just the beaches and beautiful landscapes. You will also have to find the missing students and deal with an unknown creature...

The Missing: A Search and Rescue Mystery turned out to be a game that made a good first imression and proved it to be correct later. You play as an agent with an assignment to go to an island and find the missing students with the professor. You will actually visit a number of islands. But as you land on the first one you soon realize that the students are in danger.


One other thing that you discover is that there was some human-like black cerature with an immense power,The Missing: A Search and Rescue Mystery Articles that broke through the cage and is now free on the island. That may sound like a terrible vacation idea, but that does make a great hidden object/adventure game.


The story is not extremely new, but quite interesting nevertheless. The visual presentation is perfect. The graphics are better than average. And even the abscence of the voice-over doesn't make the general feel any worse.


As to the gameplay, there are some mini games you will come across as you proceed. They are fun and not too challenging, and fit into the story. Then there are many locations to go to and explore and interect with the items in there. Thia  part is not too challenging, so you most probably won't ever be stuck without a clue about what to do next.


The game gives you a list of more general tasks to accomplish, which serves as guidelines to your search. And of course there are some hidden object levels, where you look for the items given on the list.


Once you complete the whole game you unlock the bonus level and also some bonus stuff.
