Tools to effectively Split massive PST files

As Outlook users know that MS-Outlook stores its data in a personal storage file called .pst file. In PST file you store mail objects, such as email, contacts, calendar, notes, tasks, attachments, appointments etc which contain valuable data inside it. Resolution:

To Resolve above error in Microsoft Windows XP follow the below steps:

1) Close Outlook mail application.
  
2) Find the Outlook PST file by doing below steps:

2.a) Go to Start >> Control Panel.
               
2.b) If a Pick a category view is visible then click User Accounts.
                         
If you do not see the Pick a category view, go to step 2c.

2.c)  Click Mail >> Data Files >>  Personal Folders, and then click Settings.

2.d)  Type the Text in the Filename box.

2.e)  Click OK.

3) Run the inbuilt Inbox Repair Tool. First of all search Inbox Repair Tool.

3.a) Goto Start >> Search >> All files and folders.

3.b) Type Scanpst.exe.

3.c) Click Search.

If tool is found then open Scanpst.exe. Use the Inbox Repair Tool.

3.d) Type the name of the .pst file you want to repair and press enter.

3.e) After the Inbox Repair Tool operation is complete, click OK.
