In the past, the only people who really installed and regularly ran their backup program were people or businesses that had a lot of data to protect. What few people realize, however, is that we all have a lot of information on our computers, whether they are our personal laptop computers or huge enterprise servers. From photographs and music to videos and e-mail boxes, there is a lot of data there that needs to be backed up.

You should also keep in mind that when you are working with laptops, you have the added potential for hazards such as dropping it, having it stolen, or pouring drinks on it.

Having a backup is the least expensive insurance policy you will ever buy and one that will pay off when you need it the most if you do need to use it. All you need to do is remember to set it to run on a regular basis.
