It may (or may not) come as a surprise to learn that redhead women, on average, have more sex than blondes. In Germany, a leading online dating site published these findings from more than 1200 respondents who participated in a dating and lifestyle survey. Is it just a myth, or do men really care about the color of your hair?

Hopefully,Blondes, Brunettes, Redheads - Why Are Men Infatuated? Articles most men won't judge a woman or form a first impression based on hair color. And if he does, he is obviously extremely superficial and not worth the bother. Secondly, he is limiting his options by gigantic proportions if he has already pre-determined his attraction for women with a certain hair color.

Blondes. Marilyn Monroe is our most recognized iconic blonde. However, even Marilyn was not born as a blonde. Her "blondness" helped her create an image of playfulness. Marilyn Monroe is quite possibly the very reason blondes are so popular within male circles - and she's not even a natural blonde!

Blondes exude a perception that they have more fun. Blonde hair ruminates light, therefore blondes are inclined to brighten a room. And it's this brightness that makes blondes appear sociable and cheerful. Men also consider a blonde woman far more approachable and less daunting than redheads or brunettes.

Brunettes. Brunettes are mystifying and less approachable - even intimidating for many men. It's been noted that brunettes may sometimes carry a chip on their shoulder given that blondes often get the limelight.

Brunettes are exquisite, blusterous, furious and have the power to be the ultimate seductress since a brunette is a far greater challenge for a man and ultimately a prize catch. As opposed to blonde hair, dark hair soaks up light. Seasonally, blonde hair women are spring/summery, however brunette women portray an autumn/wintry look and feel.

Redheads. A redheaded woman is a stepchild, an outcast. There are far less redheads but they are very distinct in their appearance. Redheads are not commonly the subject of open discussions in male circles. Just because she has red hair, is it fair this should be the deal breaker? Men who dismiss a girl because of red hair do so at their own peril.

The classical redheaded women are beautiful and usually in their own league, beauties such as Katharine Hepburn and Rita Hayworth for example. The redhead personality comprises of pivotal opposites: She is either a great beer-swilling bar attendant easily keeping up with the guys...or the classical self-confident sweetheart, tasteful and refined, having all the solutions before anyone else. Redheads are passionate lasses, and much like brunettes, can be quite intimidating with unashamed authority.

Do women have stereotypes when it comes to the color of a mans hair? And is there a particular type of hair color on a man that would make you inclined to date him?
