The women online dating communities on these sites offer information about how to deal with prejudice, coming out to family and friends, and above all a safe haven for lesbian women. While dating is the main purpose of these sites, they allow lesbian women a place where they can be themselves.

Women online dating isn’t just about desperate women trying to find a husband. It’s about women coming to a place where they can show their true selves, no matter what that is, without fear of persecution.
