She Broke My Heart - How Can I Love Someone Again?

She broke my heart and I feel my life falling apart. Is that you right now? Find out what is normal for a guy to go through when the love of your life walks out and more important, how to recover from it.

Gaining and losing love can be a normal part of life and for some of us that means she broke my heart when I was hoping I would have her forever. Whether she is gone for good may be hard to tell for now, but that is the way to play it. Only you can judge if it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

The problem is that trying to live with a broken heart can be very tough. You just cannot concentrate on anything meaning that even work does not get your mind off of her and your misery. It can seem as though your life is crumbling apart in front of you.

In order for a girl to have that strong of hold on your emotions you probably knew her for some time and were close to her for a while too. You really think you know her pretty well and then one day here comes the "Dear John" letter, text or email that broadsides you. You may just sit and stare at a wall for while with only one thing on your mind - "she broke my heart, what do I do now?"

For a few weeks you may feel dazed and empty inside. Any break up can have that effect on a person. But when you really feel like the two of you were meant for each other forever the pain is even more severe.

Certain physical and psychological symptoms may result from the trauma of a broken heart and may last for varying periods of time. Some of these you may experience include:

- Disinterest in food

- Insomnia

- Depression and hopelessness

- Nausea or other stomach ailments

- Being tired without the ability to sleep

- Anxiety

All of these issues can be a normal reaction anytime a woman breaks your heart, but if they persist then you should consult your physician.

Difficult as it may be, recovery depends on breaking out of your funk. If you have any hope of getting her to love you again or finding another woman to love then it is imperative that you not let this grief persist in ruining your life.

You need to maintain your health, appearance and avoid loss of self esteem in order to carry on with life and avoid further problems such as losing your job. But in addition, you want to remain a person who might appear attractive to your former love or perhaps someone new.

Sometimes there is no better way to heal a broken heart than finding someone new to love.

Here is what I want you to do:

- Maintain a good diet; you do not have to eat a lot

- Maintain your grooming; shower, hair, clean clothes, etc

- Get outside for fresh air; get out with the guys perhaps

- Exercise

- Maybe buy a few new clothes

The more you attempt to carry on the more the pain will lessen. Maybe your ex will have a change of heart and if so, you look like someone she can love again. But you also are available for someone new and exciting, too.

"She broke my heart" does not have to be the end for you, it can be a new beginning. Whether it turns out to be a new relationship with your ex - on your terms, or excitement with someone newFree Articles, you will be ready.
