So many of us rely on the internet for work and play. Our generation feels extremely comfortable employing the internet to pretty much run our lives. Computers and the internet in general has become an essential means of arranging our lives. Whilst most of us internet and IT novices marvel at the current technologies we have access to,The rise and rise of cyber romance. Articles IT entrepreneurs have not even scratched the surface with the technological advancements the next 10-20 years has in store for us.

One of the biggest advancements to grip society is the internet social platforms like Face Book. On February 4, 2004, Zuckerberg launched Face book which now has an international membership of more than 200 million. Before the concept of social networking, who would have ever dreamed of being able to re-form a group of old friends that you have not seen for 10-20 years who probably live in different corners of the world. The likes of Face Book, My Space, and more recently Twitter, are responsible for hundreds of thousands of re-unions world wide. And what's more, the owners of these sites (mega corporations) have still managed to make their websites totally free for their members.

As we, and our children grow ever more comfortable with the internet, cyber romances are also booming. Ten years ago, 8% of America singles had registered on an online dating site. As this trend becomes more socially accepted, today, there are an estimated 40% of American singles who have public dating profiles posted for the world to see.

Much like social network sites, online dating sites are keeping up to speed with matchmaking technologies. Gone are the days of simple online profile matching. Dating site features can include real time communication between members and mobile phone integration with your online dating profile.

In a society where the online world is prevailing over the 19th century traditions, keeping in touch with all the latest and greatest technology trends is all par for the coarse.
