Collateral is about a man named Sam Fisher, who by some strange coincidence experiences a very rare even of nature - A void [Read the story to understand what i'm talking about here]. Anyway, in normal terms, a void is something like a diamensional gateway...You guessed it, Sam Fisher is taken from modern day america and put somewhere he definately doesn't belong. The continent of Azaroth - a place where Magic is like science, it's present everywhere and in everything. Unfortunately, he didn't get there by his own will, he was summoned by a woman called Sarah.

‘Sam Fisher,Collateral: A fantasy fiction work Articles congratulations.’ Said the man in the white coat.

‘Why are you congratulating me?’ I asked him, highly annoyed by his smug smile.

‘You alone have the ability to break a laptop sixteen times in a single week!’ he said, laughing, ‘Seriously, what do you do with it anyway? Play catch?’ he asked, laughing and repairing my laptop.

‘Who knows, I just might have played with it a bit.’ I said, in a semi-annoyed voice. Just fix the damned thing you idiot so that I can get back to the internet. I’ve got E-mails to check, blogs to make, people to meet…

‘Ha! That’s why I like you my boy – you’re so full of energy!’ said the technician.

‘Really?’ I think you’re full of shit. Just fix the damn thing… I’ve been sitting here for the past four hours… I replied politely, while thinking ill of the 22 year-old man standing in front of me and repairing my Laptop.

‘This is a really expensive one… you’d better try not to damage it again for a month at-least.’ Said the man. ‘Whoa… dual 7900s huh?’ he whistled, ‘From the looks of it, this laptop must’ve set you back about 4000$, am I right?’ he asked me.

‘Yes.’ I replied. Smiling. So… you’re not a complete idiot. You do know a good thing when it hits you on the head. I’ll respect that part of you. Mind you, only that part. I sighed.

‘Well… it’s done!’ he said, smiling at me and handing the black laptop to me in one piece.

‘Thank you.’ I said, taking the object under my arm like a book and walking out.

‘You’re welcome back any time Sam… after all, what would I do without my number one customer?’ he asked me, smiling again, ‘yeah… and that’ll be 400$ for the repairs and 30$ as tax.’

I silently reached for my wallet, opened the flap, and took a look inside it: 430$ was left, exactly the amount I needed. I took out the cash and handed it to the man.

‘Thank you Sam, and come back any time you wish. My shop is always open for you mate!’ he said, counting the money. I didn’t care right now. I turned my back and bean to walk out. Finally… after spending four hours in this place, I could finally go home. Finally, I could connect to the broadband connection I have and surf the net… I quietly walked along the footpath.

I suppose; that at this point, I should introduce myself: My name is Sam Fisher. I’m 18 years of age. I’m currently attending college (freshman); studying Advertisement… it’s a subject that suits me. I love surfing the net. I’m an internet junkie. I’m 5 feet 8 inches tall. I have brown eyes. Black Hair (My father’s Indian and so is Mom).  An average body-build. And a bellow average sense of fashions. I’m not much of a looker… at least, that’s what I’ve been told. I’ve never had a real girlfriend… never had time for one (too busy with the internet and studies). I once saw a movie… I remember the tagline: “Life can change in a moment”, and it’s true. Trust me; I know what I’m talking about. Well, anyway, now that you know about me, I’ll let the story unfold…
