2. Give away a free report or ebook in exchange for a person's contact information. Do you publish a newsletter monthly? Is your sign-up form above the fold where a person can find it?

One way to create a money making website is to build an email marketing list and follow up with it. The way to do is to trade things useful for a person's contact information, then continues following up with them.

3. When we talk about the above the fold we mean everything a person can see without moving up and down your site. The keys to keep above the fold are referring a friend, linking to your blog, bookmarking your site link and signing up form to your mailing list.

4. Is your site consistent in all ways? Every webpage, whether it's on your blog or website, should have the same header, the same background color, and the same piece of navigation. Having a money making website will only carry you so far if you do not have enough traffic coming to you on a daily basis. Search engines can provide free or paid traffic that will increase your bottom line dramatically.
