Fine Orient has launched their new web site with an extended product range that includes women’s pyjamas, loungewear and sleepwear.
“We have been online since 2002 and were one of the first, if not the first, Oriental retailer who sold exclusively over the Internet. Our product range concentrated first on high quality Chinese goods such as silk embroidery but then Fine Orient extended the products to include the Japanese Kimono range and other Japanese gifts.
The new range of women’s pyjamas follows the Oriental theme with an array of classic silk pyjamas, cotton pyjamas, satin and soft modal pyjamas. Some of the silk pyjamas have featured on the Sex in the City TV programme so they are aimed at the 30 something’s market although we have found that the classic silk pyjamas are worn by all age groups.
The new web site will enable us to get more products on the site in a quicker time and introduce further ranges of women’s sleepwear and loungewear and we have seen quite a good initial rise in sales despite the tough trading conditions.”
