12.04.2006. Cork, Ireland. Star of Channel 4’s "Beauty and the Geek", Will Goodhand and his beauty Alex face a series of challenges in a remote castle, testing their mettle against other glamorous beauties – themselves partnered with their own nerds and knockouts. The famed “Tory Boy” and one-time snogger of Christine Hamilton has created his own website (http://www.willgoodhand.com), with updates of his going-abouts, show recaps, and of course, Will Goodhand merchandise (www.willgoodhand.com/1007-buytshirts.htm).

With t-shirts running from the self-mocking to insider-jokes,Geek it like Goodhand: Beauty and the Geek star sells shirts Articles Goodhand lets reality TV viewers show their fandom in the real world. Says Goodhand, “People kept coming up to me in the street wishing Alex and me well and it suddenly hit me – why not get some T-shirts up there - so people can actually have a tangible way to show their support – or just join in the show’s spirit of fun!”. The shop is run by Spreadshirt, the online platform for branded merchandise, which lets anyone – from corporations to individuals – setup their own free online shop.

The next few weeks determine Goodhand's success on the show. With £20,000 each at stake, competition will be high. To raise enthusiasm for his team, and bring nerdiness to a new cool, expect to see more and more people decked in “I ain't no geek” and “Geek it like Goodhand” fanware.

About Will GoodhandWhen Will Goodhand isn't starring in Beauty & the Geek, he is a stand-up comedian living in London. After reading Law at Oxford University, he chose instead to follow the entrepreneurial path - starting an Internet business just as the dotcom crash hit - operating the business from his bedroom, until an adjacent warehouse caught alight and collapsed into the flat! Having already had the misfortune to be snapped on the front page of the Sun snogging Christine Hamilton, it was incidents like these that give rise to his motto: "If you learn from your mistakes, I'm a very well-educated man indeed."
