Indian shows just cannot go without celebrities wearing the affluent Indian saris. However,Indian traditional Saree ,Bridal Sarees ,Embroidery Sarees,Party wear Sarees ,Traditional Sarees Articles now it’s even a common scene at functions overseas. Gisele Bundchen, the famous Brazilian model selected this definite Indian flavour for entering the red carpet at the annual Fashion Rocks concert in New York. You must be surprised to know that the Indian saris are now fast becoming a substitute for the western silky evening gowns. The six yard elegance considered to be an Indian woman's greatest asset has undergone a drastic change since its initial days. In most of the celebrity functions, you will see women flaunting contemporary to classic designer to embroidered or machine work to handmade sarees all round the world. This is now one of the most versatile garments loved by fashion celebrities and women in general all across the globe. Lately, the designers have changed the very appearance of a saree that was earlier conceptualized as just a 5 1/2mt drape. Today, you get much more than just this. Famous Indian designers like Tarun Tahiliani and Nida Mahmood recently showcased a brilliant collection of saris in new avatars at the Wills India Fashion Week. They state that sarees can also be teamed with a pair of jeans or with an attractive slim belt for a trendy look. The designers have brought about these innovative styles by using different kinds of belts embellished on the waist, thus adding a complete modern statement and youthfulness to the wearer’s personality. This very idea of draping sarees over the casual jeans is just with the concept of making a saree a trendy outfit and abolishing the tiresome thoughts of managing this lengthy attire. Most of the youngsters have even started to follow this for casual parties. In fact, the outfit of sarees with jeans is looking very chic and innovative especially if you are a good carrier of funky accessories and smart personality. Satya Paul has also shown us a magnificent creation with his experimentation on these 6 feet drapes in 2007. In the year, his specialty was Trouser Saree a pre- pleated with a trouser beneath. Talented designers like Anamika Khanna, Sabyasachi, Wendell Rod ricks, Meera and Muzaffar Ali have all done their best interpretations of saree. With such designer collections, you get to see the edgy, trendy and easy- to- wear saree avatars. Its known that Anamika Khanna in her Saree Spring Summer 2010 is coming up with saree pyjamas. Here, she used crushed muslin fabric, blending the saree drape with casual pyjamas that are filled in for petticoats. Sabyasachi has also presented his chhotu sarees or cropped sarees at the Winter 2009 collection, where the sarees ended just before the ankle. The Poncho Sarees by Ravi Bajaj also became popular after its promotion in Los Angeles, 2009. There are designers like Jai-Parvesh and Hemant-Nandita who introduced pre-pleated and lehenga sarees that are easy to wear anytime and anywhere. These pre-pleated sarees resemble skirts with pleats that are stitched, while the lehenga sarees have a flowing silhouette below with a heavy pallu replacing a dupatta on the left shoulder of the wearer. Sarees have occupied a status in a woman’s wardrobe that is worth a second look. How much you try, you cannot ignore this elegant beauty.
