Affordable Care Act,Obama Care Impact on Walmart Consumer Articles which is also known as Obama Care (or Health Care reform act) on Walmart’s future Sale, Coupons and Promotion offering.  Obama Care doesn’t need anybody’s introduction, since this was discussed in media for months. Unfortunately, the same act today has become main reason for US government shutdown. Even though, this act is very popular and known to everybody but very few people understand the detail of this act.

Obama Care has two main important provisions; one is for general public, known as Affordable Care. Through which anybody without insurance can now buy insurance from government or from private exchange. Also, its required by law now, that every individual should have health insurance. This provision is blessing for millions of uninsured people.

The Second provision, which is knows as Employer Share Responsibility.  This is where the Obama Care gets complicated. Under this clause every employer with more than fifty workers now need to provide Affordable Health Care Plan for all the workers who work more than thirty hours a week. There are aslo other requirement such as yearly reporting to IRS etc. We won’t get into too much detail of act as this will off track us from our main topic.

The reason I choose Walmart is pretty obvious, as Walamrt is largest employer in country. Walmart is not only the largest but its more than 80% of workforce classified as part time or temporary. Since Walmart never kept these entire employee on their payroll as fulltime that helped them to avoid paying for their health insurance. Soon this all will be changed and Walamrt will now have to offer Health Insurance to their all part-time employees.

Walmart has been known for their cheap prices, and one of the reasons behind their cheap prices compare to their competitors is their low cost work-force. Since majority of the work force is temporary, which helps them to save millions on their balance sheet. Soon this will changing and there is no way that Walmart can offer that cheap prices. Today Walmart offer almost every week various Sales, Promotions and coupons to attract consumer. These walmart Sale, promotions and coupons are offered on the top of Wal-Mart already low prices. So you can imagine the saving with these Walmart coupons is big and that help walmart to attract millions of consumer.

Whether you are buying LED TV’s, Laptop, DSLR Camera, Bikes, Home Furniture or any other item for your home or office. Rest is assured that Walamrt has it and they have it for low price, yes walmart offer the branded item and they are always cheaper than their competitors.

I really hope that Walamrt will continue to offer Walmart Coupon and Promotions along with their lowest prices tags. But frankly I don’t see how they can do that with increasing burden of employee health care cost. Don’t be surprised if Walmart prices’ go up in early next year. My advice to the folks will be to complete your big shopping on coming Thanks’ Giving Sale. Just start making list of the item you need and start finding Walmart Coupons for those items.  Every year Walmart has really big thanks giving sale.
