Naturally,Pepperfry: A design and customer satisfaction success case study! Articles I am in love with the digital medium and everything it offers in terms of making my life convenient. One of these, are the e-retailing portals that have come up in the last few years, my favorite however, is one such portal, namely Pepperfry and this is one positive Pepperfry Review. When I came across this portal, two of the most prominent aspects of my persona came forth to judge it, the digital marketer and the consumer. My evaluation of the portal, therefore, is divided into two categories, user experience and customer satisfaction. Following is how I see this portal and why it makes for a case study of a brand that has found success in nascent stages of its inception:

  1. User Experience:
    1. The home page has a ‘Pinterest-esque’ layout
    2. Every product category has been intuitively laid out for the consumer
    3. The design has been created keeping in mind the consumer’s eye-span. All product categories come into view in one glance and the home page displays all products within just 3 scrolls of the mouse
    4. Each category has a call to action button that says ‘Shop Now’
    5. At the end of the page, there’s a bar that highlights all top brands and brands on discount show a discount tag on the top right corner

  1. As a customer:
    1. Once I have liked a category, I click on ‘Pay Now’
    2. This leads me to a screen which showcases all the products in one page
    3. The left hand panel allows me to choose products from a segment of my choice (for e.g. electronics) on the basis of the following three parameters:

 i.      Category

ii.      Price

iii.      Brand

iv.      Assembly

v.      Array

vi.      Warranty

  1. The price slider is also an amazing and unique feature that lets me decide the price range I am looking for to buy the product in

As I write further, I have come to realize that the next step for me would be to write a positive Pepperfry Review. In my opinion, this portal has taken care of the needs of the consumer in more ways than one. Apart from the obvious needs of a hyper-convenient shopping experience, Pepperfry has ensured that it is also a pleasurable and pleasant one. Based on the aforementioned pointers, I have come to the conclusion that if Pepperfry is not doing things right for their consumers, nobody else is. I have ordered products worth Rs. 20000 from the site till today and have always had a good experience.

As a final note, I’d also like to add that they have a really cool blog called ‘Apunka Fry’ that provides tips to consumers. These tips vary from maintenance advice to fashion suggestions. Personally, this is a very good measure to keep an interesting conversation going with the consumers and is an intelligent initiative. If you ever come across this Pepperfry Review, please make sure you visit Pepperfry and place an order or two, as you get a coupon that allows you to avail Rs. 1500 off on any purchase you make post sign up.

Have fun shopping!
