• Always keep the PPE’s readily available for the visitors visiting designated areas. If you do this, your clients and visitors will also get impressed with way you treat your employees.
• Make your employees aware how important PPE’s are for them. Tell your employees how personal protective equipment’s can save them from fatal workplace injuries. If they understand the logic behind your policies, they will adhere to them. Instead of buying safety jackets online and telling your workers to wear them, let them know why they need them. If they get to know about the dangers of not using it, they will certainly wear it.
• There comes a time in every company when they required dealing with the workers with iron hand. If you don’t do this, your employees can become complacent and start using their equipment improperly. Therefore, keep a list of written PPE policies in your factory along with consequence of not following them.
