Today was the first teleconference call a group of us had on The Journaling For Achievement Group at Women Internet Marketing Ning,Success Is Achievable Articles which is a Web 2.0 site on the Internet.

We were to be discussing our goals for the month of March and beyond. I offered to lead the group, as well as to discuss Napoleon Hill's philosophy in "Think And Grow Rich".

Simultaneously, I read the Electronic book called "Discover Secrets to Achieving Total Success!"

Synchronistically, the author, Dr. Joe Capista, outlined many of Napoleon Hill's principles in the book. We were planning to discuss our business goals on the call, but I gleaned from Dr. Capista that goals must be multi-faceted.

We must focus not only on our business goals, but also personal, physical, spiritual, mental, emotional and financial goals, too.

These goals, in order to be effective, must be written every day, and reviewed both morning and evening and several times a day.

The card you carry with these written goals may be laminated and kept close to where you can retrieve it.

Be clear on what you want while at the same time, believe you can have it.

Believe you deserve to have it because if you don't believe you deserve it or that you will never achieve this thing of your dreams, then chances are very good that you will not.

Dr Capista also recommends a year end review of the goals you cherished during the the 365 day cycle. Take time with this. Savor your accomplishments. Carry forth the goals you are still nurturing into the New Year.

Never give in to someone else's doubt about what you know you can accomplish.

This bears frequent reflection.

Associate with other professionals who are more successful than you are. This helps you to increase product and service offerings, work quality as well as forcing you to raise your own standards.

Dr Capista says that you must know your market. Develop sponsorship for your product or service which will help to drive the success of your business.

When our group met via phone this afternoon, I was amazed by the superior expertise of the women on the call. I knew immediately that I was associating with more successful people than myself, across the board.

Yet perhaps I wasn't giving myself the credit I deserve. But I also recognized Dr Capista's tip that this association will help me achieve the success I so desire in my own life. I recognized that I was raising the bar to what I am able to do in this life time.

I recognized Dr Capista's insights that by staying close to these women, by focusing closely on my goals, by keeping an open mind, and continuing to learn new skills in the Internet Marketing world, I will stay on track.

I also have a group who will hold me accountable for what I say I am going to do. We are, in effect, a Master Mind group. Napoleon Hill defines this as "no two minds ever come together without creating a third, invisible, intangible force, which may be likened to a third mind."

This third mind was with us on the call, today.

Whoever you are, Bless You.
