No matter what business you are in,Why You Need a Capture Page Articles you absolutely need to have a capture page. It doesn't matter if you are in the car business, real estate business or running a home-based business, a capture page will allow you to make many more sales than your competition.

The reason behind this concept is fairly simple. In today's world, people are looking for connections. This is obvious when you witness some of the "top shows" on TV today: Survivor, The Apprentice, America's Top Model and American Idol. The list could go on and on! People want to connect with others in an intimate way.

It really is no different in the business world. People want to get to know the person in front of the business. They want to establish a connection and understand that they will be working with a real person.

You can accomplish this by placing a capture page (sometimes known as a landing or splash page) in front of your business website. Your prospect will first land on your capture page and have the chance to get to know you before they are introduced to your business.

In addition, you also have a form that entices the prospect to submit all of their personal information in exchange for access to your business site. Obviously, you need to offer something of value in exchange for their information. Perhaps you can offer them an e-book or a free consultation. I often simply "tease" the prospect by letting them know that once they enter their information, they will have access to an amazing business opportunity.

You will notice that it is short and enticing. Prospects are compelled to enter their information to learn more about my business.

Once they have entered their information, than I am free to contact them and talk to them personally. That is the surest way to make the sale. The best part of a capture page is that most people remember visiting your capture page and entering their information. When you call them back, they know who you are and are usually more than happy to talk with you. It makes that dreaded "cold call" into a "warm call."

So, make sure to spend some time putting together a capture page for your business. You will soon find that you will have quite a few more prospects than ever before. Of course, more prospects only means more business.
