If you have a son or daughter that will shortly graduate from high school and will want to go to college, then it is better to start as early as possible to save for this enormous expense. Many families are hit financially in order to pay for their children’s education.

Grants are also a great way to save on education.  A grant is similar to a scholarship.  A grant is free money that does not have to be repaid.  Most grants are given to underprivileged students or students that are in a certain category.  You can easily find out about special grants from your child’s college financial aid office or government and commercial web sites that offer information on finding grants.
