Dr Tushar Desai, principal of Ruparel College, a reputed college for science in the city, said, “Students seeking admissions to engineering courses are not sure about the admission. These students are mostly high scorers in class XII board examinations.
With their good marks, they block seats in these science courses. Refund rules are applicable for these admissions and hence, after paying the minimal charge, these students are given back their original documents.”
