Many individuals new to internet marketing have low budgets as far as. As a result,Bulk Email Versus Opt In Email Articles most use resources for advertising that are very affordable. Newsgroups, free classified sites, and the like are all methods that may be used for those on a budget to market their services/products. The problem with using these methods is that while they are very affordable, or free in some cases, they take a lot of time and the results are not what one would expect especially for the amount of time involved. Luckily, there are affordable options of marketing via email that has better results and that is very cost effective.

Email marketing has two specific types. These include bulk email that is unsolicited by the recipient and then opt in direct emails that have been requested by the recipient.

Bulk Email

Bulk email that has not been requested by the recipients is considered spam. This is sending mass emails to long lists of email addresses who have not given permission for their email address to be used. It is controversial to send spam and most people do whatever they can to avoid spam. As a result, this is not a method that will likely help you in your goal to marketing your products and services. Spamming is not appreciated and the unsuspecting owners of the email usually just delete it. Before using this type of method to advertise your product or service you should evaluate how you want your product to be considered by the public. Sending spam mail can cause problems, like fines, so it is best to avoid this method. You can still email, but do so by opt in only.

Opt In Emails

Opt in direct emails are okay because while they are commercially based the recipients have given permission to receive these types of emails. There are many ways to send opt in emails from renting an opt in list to creating your own. It is important to ensure that the individuals you are emailing are those who are actually interested in your product or service. You don't want to send thousands of emails to people who have no desire in your product. It's better to send to 500 people and have a better chance of making a sale.

These are just a few ways for you to ensure that you are doing what is best for your company. Don't be shortsighted or consider what you can do in five minutes. Instead, think about your company and the long term goal. Where you want to be in a year, two years, or more, and then put in the required effort for the product. In the end, you will find that it is worth the time and effort and you will make more money in the long run.
