How to include an image in your Gmail account signature

As you can deduce, the process of putting an image in the signature of the Gmail account is quite simple and will not take more than a couple of minutes. Don't jump to the instructions just yet. Read the important points below:

Step 2:- More than one image can be included in the signature. However, unless you have a very valid reason, keep the number to a minimum. Remember, a single image has a greater impact and looks much more polished!

Step 4:- In addition to width and height, the image file size should be optimized so that it takes a minimum time to load.

Once the image is online on a server all that is required is to use the copy and paste commands to embed it in the signature of the Gmail account.

The steps below have been done in the Google Chrome web browser running a Windows 7 computer using the standard Google account interface.

  1. Sign in to your Gmail account. Click on "Options" (top right) and choose "Mail Settings" from the menu.
  2. Go to the "Compose" section
  3. Check the "Use Editing" box. Click on "No Signature" and select "Use Signature"
  4. The Gmail account signature composition box will be displayed
  5. As I've already detailed how to create a text Gmail account signature in another article, to save time, I'll stick to the discussion at hand: embedding an image.
  6. Now, right-click and select "Copy Image" from the menu. If you are using a different web browser, choose an equivalent option.
  7. Return to the Google account page, right-click the signature box of the Gmail account and select “Paste
  8. The image will immediately be placed in the signature box of the Gmail account
  9. You can add formatted text above or below the image and also include a link
  10. Scroll down and click the "Save Settings" button
  11. Return to the mail
  12. Click "Email" to display the message composition form
