50 Cent was Born in South Jamaica, Queens in New York. He became a drug dealer at the age of 12. In 2000, 50 Cent gave up drug dealing and became a rapper which lead to him being shot 9 times.

In 2002, 50 Cent released a mix tape called Guess Who's Back? Eminem received a copy from 50 Cent's attorney, liked it, and then flew 50 cent out to meet himself and Dr. Dre. He then signed a one million dollar record deal and released the album: No Mercy, No Fear.

Dr. Dre, Eminem, and 50 Cent then produced the album: Get Rich or Die Tryin which was released on February 6, 2003 and sold 20 million albums worldwide. It featured the lead single: In da Club.

In 2003, 50 cent founded G-Unit Records, a record label which signed rappers such as Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo.

50 Cent has had many feuds with other rappers including: The Game, Ja Rule, and Fat Joe to name a few.

50 Cent has also been in two films: Get Rich or Die Tryin and Iraq War.

50 cent has his own clothing company: G-Unit Clothing Company. He has released a G-Unit sneakers line with Reebok. He has been a voice-over in the video game 50 Cent: Bulletproof. He created a drink called Formula 50 which was bought-out by Coca Cola in 2007 and earned him $100 million. He has launched a condom line called magic stick condoms. He has made an appearance on The Simpsons. He has also launched an imprint called G-Unit Books.

50 Cent is transported in a Chevy Suburban which sports 5 tons of steel armor, a bombproof undercarriage, bulletproof windows, and tires that keep rolling even if they are shot out. The vehicle is driven by trained professionals who can drive it to safety if it's ever attacked.

In 2006, 50 Cent earned $32 million, putting him in the number two position on the Forbes richest rappers list (only one spot behind Jay-Z who held the number one position with earnings of $34 million.)
