When you run out of air wicks and other kinds of aerosols and things in your bathroom or kitchen, then it’s time to take a trip to the store. However, when you’re browsing the aisles looking for other aerosols or sprays to deck out your bathroom with, you might want to consider ignoring this aisle all together and going on to the scented candles aisle.

There are a variety of reasons you should switch to scented candles for all your air freshening needs but the most important of these is probably because it will save the environment. Aerosols are ruining our atmosphere by destroying the ozone layer. Most people have graduated high school and have since forgotten what the ozone layer actually does for people or what that even means,Air Freshening with Scented Candles Articles so here’s a quick lesson.

When debris comes in from space and enters our atmosphere, the earth’s gravity automatically sucks it in and causes it to come hurtling to the ground. Thankfully we have an ozone layer which causes friction and this friction makes the debris which could be anything from old US satellites to meteors, burn up before they reach the earth. Take a look at the moon, see all those dark marks? The moon has no ozone layer and those dark marks are craters caused by objects hitting the moon at high speeds. That is what the earth will look like without an ozone layer, and we can prevent this tragedy from happening simply by ceasing to use aerosols and fossil fuels and moving on to electricity and alternative energies and using scented candles for life’s small conveniences.

Another advantage to scented candles is that they will make a smell that is controlled and longer lasting than sprays. The candle will last as long as you allow it to burn whereas the spray will be used once and then the smell will go away forever only to damage our atmosphere.  So if you have a kitchen that smells like trash, a garbage disposal malfunction, or a particularly smelly toilet, you can mask this smell at length with scented candles until you can get it fixed. With a spray you would have to resort to constantly coming back and doing spray after spray in order for it to have the same effect.

You’ll be spending too much money on sprays and you’ll be spending far too much time working with other things in general trying to maintain your immediate environment when really all it takes is to have a single candle that is constantly burning. This is a much more user friendly method and requires a lot less labor than your average device.

Even if there is not a small you are trying to mask, there are a thousand different scents you can find for these candles, all of them really pleasing to the senses and they will make your home smell good to you and to your guests with no cost to you other than the cost for a small match box which you can probably find for free, and one large or a few small candles. There’s no reason not to invest in them really and scented candles will be one of the smartest purchases you’ve ever made.
