Antham Movie Review and Rating

Story:-

Kalyan (Charan) and Vanitha (Rashmi Gautham) are a working couple who live a happy life in Hyderabad. One day Kalyan is going to Vijayawada for work, leaving his wife in Hyderabad. During his return journey, an unknown person (Vasudev) called Kalyan and threatens to kidnap Vanitha if Kalyan does not force its requirements. With no choice left and concern for the safety of his wife, Kalyan agrees to follow the instructions of this unknown person. Who is this stranger? How is it related to Kalyan and Vanitha? What Kalyan has to do to save his wife? These questions form the heart of the story.

Plus Points:-

The greatest asset of Antham is driving short and crisp execution. Comedy Sudharshan major entertainment offering and signing of dialogue gives some giggles. The first ten minutes after the attackers entered were shot well and increase the tempo of the film. The remix song that showcases the glamor of Rashmi was well filmed and will be cherished by the B and C centers crowd. Charandeep, which is usually seen in villain roles, did a decent job. Rashmi has nothing to do as it only appears for about half an hour into the film.

Minus Points:-

The main scenario of the film is quite low. These stories should have strong emotions and an exciting scenario and unfortunately, the director fails to provide both. The film becomes slower and slower as it moves forward. The story is stretched beyond a point and gets painful. The suspense of the film is also irritating to watch. Manufacturers also misleading the public by advertising the film as an erotic thriller but Rashmi is barely seen in the film. They tried to draw in the audience with a false propaganda.

Technical Aspects:-

There is nothing to talk about the technical aspects of Antham. The values of the film production are lower than the average. Music by Karthik has expired. Publishing is a chop and a better job could have been done. the camera work is just okay. Dialogues are pathetic. Kalyan upcoming director, he tried to manage all the key technical aspects of the film as a script, story editing, VFX and direct. When someone tries to do everything at once, the quality will be significantly reduced and it is clear on the big screen. Kalyan fails to provide an exciting movie and sparkles in every possible aspect.

Verdict:-

Overall, Antham is mainly composed of six scenes and a song and is stretched beyond imagination. The film was not totally into the emotion and the script is atrocious. Except misleading propaganda, the film has hardly anything to make it attractive. You can easily skip this movie.
