Most people do it because they make a lot of money. No matter how much others look down upon it, people are still going to decide to work at a strip club. With that being said there are many people who have not yet made the decision to work at a strip club, but they may be thinking about it. It this describes you, there are several things you should consider before you make your final decision.

The first thing you should do is to make sure you have thick skin and you aren't easily offended. That's because you will be around of a lot of people who may be drunk. They may say disrespectful things and make comments that could really hurt your feelings. Having to hear these kinds of remarks for hours and hours on end can really take a toll on you. If you aren't able to take rude or inappropriate comments without breaking down, then this is not the job for you.

Another thing you should consider before you decide to work at a strip club is whether or not you are comfortable wearing revealing clothing. The truth is that most of the time you will be wearing very revealing outfits. If you don't really feel comfortable in these types of outfits, this occupation may not suit you. It makes no sense to go to work feeling uncomfortable all of the time. So, you may want to consider a different path if you can't handle this particular element.

You should also think about whether you will want to work odd hours. This is not a regular 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. job. You may have to work 9 p.m. until to 1 or 2 in the morning on most days. So, if you are someone who can't really stay up late or you aren't interested in working odd night time hours, this isn't the job for you.

If you cannot deal with the realities or the challenges that come along with this particular occupation, then you may want to consider taking another route.
