Bad Window Curtains ruining a Dream

The Window Curtains blew gently from the breeze coming in through the open window. Tossing and turning in the evening a young man mumbles softly in his sleep while his mind wanders through the wonderful world that is his dream. There in the distance he can make out the silhouette of what he could describe as the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. Desperately he takes off after her his hand out stretched; he is almost there when suddenly a bright and nearly overwhelming light blinds him.

Sitting up suddenly he is forced to shield him from the harsh rays of the sun that his Window Curtains failed at shielding him from. Groaning he gets out of bed, checking the clock by his bed he sees that because of the Window Curtains not blocking the sun he is a full two hours awake earlier then he needs to be. Getting dressed he heads out for his day, tired and grumpy from the lack of sleep cause by inadequate Window Curtains.

Returning home from his day at work exhausted he forgets about the problem with his Window Curtains and settles in for a nights of rest. Only to once again have that same dream, only this time he is so close he could almost smell the perfume that this mystery woman is wearing. And just as before the blinding light appears and he arises from his slumber cursing the Window Curtains for not doing as they are designed to do thus causing him to lose out yet again on his dream woman.

Tired and grumpier still he goes into work where a co-worker notices that he is in an odd mood and so inquires as to the reasoning behind his current condition. Hearing about the trouble involving the light getting in through his Window Curtains, the co-worker suggests that he look into getting a new pair of Window Curtains. As this was a sound idea he decided to try and get some new ones after work.

Entering a local department store the young man made his way to the aisle that held the Window Curtains. Looking up and down he saw many kinds and variations of Window Curtains, done in a multitude of colors and patterns. Still he was looking for thick Window Curtains that would not only block out the sun but help with the heating costs come winter.

Not finding the Window Curtains that he wanted he gave up and headed home, his need for sleep out weighing his need to shop. Getting home he stares at the bed for a long moment before he decides to try sleeping once again. Glaring at his Window Curtains once more he climbs into bed to sleep.

Again he is in the dream world making his way to the woman of dreams, this time he is closer and actually gets a hold of her pulling her into his arms and just as their lips are about the meet the light once again appears. Now cursing up a storm he awakens and stalks over to his computer intent on finding some Window Curtains before tonight so that he could finally kiss the girl of his dreams. Some nice thick light blocking Window Curtains to ensure that he gets the sleep he needs and wants.
