A birthday party for a child is usually themed based on the child's interests. Having a theme is a great way to decorate and create an atmosphere for a good party. A birthday party in the park can also be impractical if the parents and have to bring their own play equipment, such as games, balls, and toys. Therefore, renting a venue to host a birthday party might be a better decision for parents who also look forward to enjoying the day with their child and their friends.

Unlike a park, the zoo has both outdoor and indoor space that is designated for holding children's events.
