Strip clubs are extremely popular establishments. However, that doesn't mean anyone can assume that everyone is familiar with them.

Lauren was a single mother with two 11-year-old twins named Josiah and Joseph. Both of her children were extremely intelligent and creative. Josiah was more laid-back and shy. However,Confusion about Strip Clubs Articles Joseph was extremely outgoing and loved to speak his mind.

"Mom, I love school," said Joseph. "I want to get in the book club, but it might not be fun."

"Honey, I think it's wonderful that you want to get involved in extracurricular activities at such a young age," said Lauren. "Just because you think that one is boring, doesn't mean you should give up though. I'm sure you will find something that you like."

When the twins went back to school the next day, Joseph overhead the conversation of a few of the older students.

"I saw one on a picture and strip clubs look like a lot a fun," said the student. "I can't wait until I'm old enough to go."

Joseph was extremely confused, but because he didn't want the older students to know that he was eavesdropping, he didn't ask any questions. He decided to ask Josiah later on when they got on the bus.

"Strip clubs?" asked Josiah. "I'm not sure, but it sounds like something cool if the big kids want to be a part of it."

"I know," said Joseph. "I'm going to ask mom about it when we get home, because it sounds like something really fun."

When the boys got home, their mother was in the kitchen making preparations for supper.

"Hi boys," said Lauren. "How was school?"

"It was okay," said Josiah. "I can't wait until this Saturday when we get to go to the zoo."

Lauren smiled.

"Don't worry," she said. "You just have a few more days. Why don't you guys go and start on your homework and then get washed up for supper?"

They both began to head for their rooms, until Joseph suddenly stopped in his tracks. "Oh yeah, I forgot I had something to ask you mom," he said. "I'm thinking about joining one of the strip clubs at school and I just wanted to know if you could tell me a little bit more about it."

Lauren dropped the stirring utensil to the floor as she stood completely frozen in shock. She slowly turned around to face her son, as her mouth remained partly open revealing her strong feeling of surprise.

"What did you say?" she asked. "You mean to tell me they are teaching you about strip clubs at school?"

"Well, not really," he said. "I heard some of the big kids talking about it and it sounded like fun. So, I just wanted you to tell me what it is, because I was a little confused."

Lauren suddenly smiled as she breathed a sigh of relief. "Oh, now I get it," she said. "All I can tell you right now, son, is you will understand it better when you become older. Now, go off to start on your homework."
