The types of wedding venues vary greatly. There are many different categories of them. For instance there are the outdoor wedding venues. As you can tell by the name,Different Types of Wedding Venues For Your Big Day Articles these have to be outdoors. These could be anywhere like a botanical garden, a forest, a beach, and much more. Usually outdoor locations will be used in the warmer months, like summer or spring. This affords warm temperatures so that the guests are not freezing. Usually these locations are picked to be romantic, beautiful and lovely. The bride and groom want to feel the wind and smell the flowers or other scents that they love. For beach weddings, the dress is usually a little less formal because people have to be able to walk through sand and potential get a little wet. For all of the rest, fabrics are probably much more lightweight so that the people involved are not sweating profusely while the ceremony is happening.

But there are drawbacks to outdoor wedding venues. One of the major ones is weather. If it starts raining and there is no place for anyone to take shelter, then the whole day could be ruined. If it is raining very heavily, it might mean that the wedding might not even get to take place, considering that the dates might be booked for days ahead of the day that got rained out. Also, if it is very windy, that could also be a problem for an outdoor wedding venue. People's dresses might blow up, chairs could get knocked down, and other important things could get blown away. This would probably put a damper on the special occasion.

But for those people that do want to be outdoors for their ceremony, there is a solution. They could rent a combination location. They could rent a outdoor and indoor venue, a location that supplies both. This way, in case of weather, everyone will be able to retreat back inside and have the whole event there. But if the day is a beautiful one, then the whole thing can go as planned and no one's day needs to be ruined. Another solution is to rent tents to be put up at the outdoor location. This also provides shelter in case of inclement weather. Again, this gives everyone a place to retreat to while the rain is going on, and it lets the event continue as planned. There is definitely one danger in this though. If there is a major wind storm along with rain, then all of the tents might fall down. That would be an even bigger disaster than just rain. Or if it hailed, that would be even worse. But if a person does want an outdoor location, then it is a good idea to have a backup plan to do in case of very bad weather. This will ensure that the day goes smoothly and will be as stress-free as possible. That way the whole event will be as perfect as you imagine it would be.
