Dohchay Telugu Movie Review and Rating

Story: -

Chandu (Naga Chaitanya) is a small-time crook who deceives everyone and makes money for the education of her sister. One day he comes across on a bag full of money that belongs to a dreaded gangster Manikyam (Posani) with whom he also shares a personal vendetta.
He steals the bag and used the money for his personal problems. Twist in the tale arises when Manikyam Chandu kidnaps father and sister and asked her to return the money. What will Chandu do now? How could pay huge amount for Manikyam? and which does not appear Kriti Sanon in all this set up? Which forms the rest of the story.

Plus Points: -

Twists in the film were executed very well. Naga Chaitanya looks beautiful and has greatly improved his acting abilities. It is well suited role and chemistry with Kriti Sanon refreshing looks. The film has a lot of strong feelings that have been established well. The chase scene in the climax looks cool and was choreographed beautifully.Kriti Sanon looks gorgeous and has been cleverly used in the film. Brahmanandam is the main highlight during the last half hour of the film. His character elevates the film to a decent level and brings a lot of entertainment value. First half of the film moves casually enough and has enough thrilling moments.Posani is very good at the peak and so are his followers. The film's production values are very good and the way the story was conceived is interesting. Ravi Babu is suitable as a cunning police officer and brings a lot of depth to the film. Saptagiri is superb in his appearance.

Negative points: -

This film traces Swamy Ra Ra and in many scenes and history set up to remind you that the film instantly. Second half gets bogged down completely until Brahmanandam made an entry. Tracks are yet another drawback of the film. No songs register in your mind and have been wasted in the film.Bang interval is too simple and rushed up. Although the sensations are good, they take up too much screen time. Some logic is missing in the film and one can easily notice these flaws. Dohchay has very less mass elements and could limit its scope primarily to A centers.

Technical aspects :-

Dohchay is quite high on technical values. the camera work is brilliant and the manager so Sudheer Varma conceptualizes the whole movie looks good. As said earlier, music is the weakest point in the film. But Sunny M R impresses with its decent background score. Film script is good and picks up during orgasm.written dialogues are suitable and appropriate to the nature of the film. Coming to the Director Sudheer Varma, one can easily feel that he is still in the hangover of Swamy Ra Ra, and chose a very similar script. But he earns brownie points by adding some playful elements and raises the tempo during the end which is very important for a film.

Verdict: -

Overall, Dohchay some very stylish action sequences. An interesting premise, well executed first half and a last half hour hilarious are huge assets. If you can sit through the predictable twenty minutes after the interval and go without waiting, you will certainly enjoy this brilliant action thriller.
