Facts About Shannon Lee - Bruce Lee's Daughter

Shannon Emery Lee is an American actress who born in LA, California on 19th April 1969.

Shannon Lee is the second child of Linda Lee Cadwell and Bruce Lee.

She is the younger sister of Brandon Lee and granddaughter of actor Hoi-Chuen Lee, as well as the niece of Robert Lee.

Her Mandarin name is Lee Siang Yee and her Cantonese name is Lee Heung Yee.

She is of German, Chinese and Swedish descent.

After living in Hong Kong from 1971 – 1973, Shannon and her family decided to move back to United States not long after her father passed away.

Majored in music at Tulane University in New Orleans.

In 1994, Shannon married lawyer Ian Keasler and bore their daughter, Wren, in 2003.

In 1993, she made her acting debut playing a cameo in the film Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (her father’s biopic film).

In 2000, it was suggested that Shannon should stop acting because of the deaths of her brother as well as her father. Two of them died because of strange, mysterious circumstances while working on their fifth movie. In 2001, Shannon finished work on her fifth movie and still alive.

Shannon considered herself as the lazy one in the family. She used to ask her mom “Did dad ever, like, veged out on the couch watching movie, TV or anything” – and the answer is noHealth Fitness Articles, he and Brandon both were far more active.

Shannon Lee is the executive producer of The Legend of Bruce Lee – the 2008 television series which based on her father’s life. She is currently the president of the Bruce Lee Foundation.
