Women’s fashion is one of those things that can be hard to predict,Fashion for Winter 2011 Articles though looking stylish is costing less and less, as the big retailers compete to offer quality at a low cost. Burnt colours are set to be big for the autumn of 2011, in line with the colours of the trees. This is a colour theme which is running across both genders and offers great chances to pair with more austere colours such as greys, blacks and whites.70s Fashion/ OrientalThough 1940s fashion has been at the front of the world recently, 1970s fashion is also set for a rise in the popularity stakes. Expect 70s bohemian and 70s glamour fashion to be precedent in the autumn/ winter of 2011.Expect the maxi dress to make a return for this season, the sheer maxi dress in fact. It is heavier and therefore warmer. This dress will be especially teamed up with the burnt colours we have mentioned.Shimmering dresses and high waist trousers are set to be big this season, as the 70s chic rears its head. The reinterpretation of these styles is set to be big. Oriental fashion is also set to be a popular one this season also. This style has been carried across the spring/ summer divide and will continue for this season. Investing in a pair now is a great idea as it will be sure that these trousers will once again be popular into summer 2012.Plunging neck lines may not be the most ideal for the cold weather, but designers such as Gucci have really pushed the plunging line in this season. The female has also been pushed by Tom Ford in homage to the 70s styles that are very apparent this season. Also expect plenty of fur i both fake and real forms, though this may divide people. Expect this to be featured alongside bell bottoms and wide leg pants, which are all part of that 1970s revival we were talking about – so look about in the attic or get to the dorothyperkins for your needs.AccessoriesChokers and solid jewellery on the necks and arms are set to be very popular for 2011. These accessories more than catch the eye and are far from subtle, though they are set to be very popular. Harnesses are also set to get a show in the limelight – leather harnesses in fact. These harnesses do throw style back to the sexualisation of fashion, however many don’t push towards complete sexualisation of fashion and downplay the whole bondage idea.ShoesAnkle boots will remain a staple this season. These go brilliantly with jeans and yet are versatile enough to go with dresses. Thigh high boots for wear with minis and opaque tights are also still in the game for the coming season. Stilettos for that sexy look can be teamed with a lot of the aforementioned styles.Pull on leather boots and Uggs are there to create comfort during the cold months, we all know there is nothing as satisfying as a good pair of boots for the cold winter season and fortunately this trend is spot on for the coming few months. The Ugg Montclair lace up is a stylish and warm boot that fits all the boxes and is set to be very popular in the coming season. Expect seamless boots to also be very popular in the autumn/ winter period. Fringe boots will also be common – back to the appeal of the 70s – so prepare your wardrobe for them also.Whatever your needs and whatever fashion or style you choose for next season, it’s sure to offer colour, an interesting take and something exciting.
