Heavy Rain is a fine game with an innovative twist. Released in February 2010,Heavy Rain: Get Ready For The Downpour! Articles more than one million copies of Heavy Rain were sold in less than a month around the world. Heavy Rain is available on the Playstation 3 gaming system and is the game that most PS3 owners want in their video game library. Quanticdream has developed and designed a video game unlike any other with its innovative and different ideas and a new approach to video gaming all together. Heavy Rain is a game, a movie, and a great story all in one.

The game tells a story and the player gets to play four different characters. Ethan Mars is a father and an architect, Madison Paige is a journalist, Norman Jayden is an FBI officer, and Scott Shelby is a private investigator. Every character one plays in this game will get emotionally bonded to the player and every decision and move made by these characters ultimately decides the future of the game. Unlike many other games there is nothing called a game over feature if you fail in a mission or if any character you are playing die. The game will move on and the ending is significantly different than any other game out there.

Heavy Rain is all about finding the Origami killer. It is a fine game that will blend you with the very fabric and essence of its story. You are actually involved in the movie and your actions will decide how and where the story should proceed. An abundance of miniscule details have been integrated very delicately and efficiently by the Quanticdream team. Controlling the game is very simple and frequent button prompts will appear on the screen at different situations. One of the smaller concerns with this game is that players often feel it difficult at times in getting the character to move where they want them to move. The player should decide quickly on which buttons to choose which can be very tricky and depends on the skill levels and coordination of the players.

The graphics in Heavy Rain are good and every single tiny detail is taken into account. At times you may feel that the characters are too rich in graphics while the surroundings are of low detail. Other than that the facial expressions and lip movements are done very skillfully. The background visuals in the game are simply superb and give a real feel of a real life experience that you are controlling with your controller. During good times the imagery is colorful and during bad times the imagery is real dark although the player can predict situations with these dim and bright light situations will occur.

The back ground music and other sound effects of Heavy Rain are of high quality and really excellent. The music really puts you in a deep trance gets you enmeshed in the game. The music tracks are really good and go well with story. The way the characters speak is so natural and it keeps the originality alive all throughout the game. Overall this game has fine playability, graphics, music tracks, and clear strategic objectives. This game is good for anyone that enjoys these types of games and chances are you will not be disappointed.
