It's Bollywood acting professional Imran Khan's birthday these days. This movie placed him together with Ranbir Kapoor as a prospective heir to modern Bollywood’s celebrities. His debut film gave him a place in Best Male Debut at the 54th Filmfare Awards and achieved it along with Farhan Akhtar. After that, he played a negative role in his next film Kidnap with Sanjay Dutt, the film was flopped at the box office but Khan’s performance was valued and gained him an IIFA Award nomination in 2009. In his just four-year profession in the ‘Hindi Cinema’, people have speculated about him. But somehow, he never quite seemed to stay up to that anticipation. That seems set to modify this season, when a number of films he acts in will launch, such as those by filmmakers such as Karan Johar, Vishal Bhardwaj, Milan Luthria and Tigmanshu Dhulia.
