Without a doubt, the best part of going to Las Vegas is in the casinos. However,Lions and Tigers and Flamingos… Oh My! Articles there are times where you’ve been sitting in front of a slot machine for hours on end, and you need nothing more than to walk around for a little while. Fortunately, you can walk around Las Vegas and not only get a stretch, you can see the animals! We aren’t referencing the folks handing out cards and flyers, either.. Here are a few things you can do during your gambling break.

First off, the Flamingo Las Vegas has… flamingos! Well, they actually have more than 300 birds and a variety of other animals in their wildlife habitat. The best part is looking at the flamingos, however. If you’re in the mood to look at more animals, you have two more options: the first is to go see the white tigers at the Mirage. Head into the lobby and you’ll see the white tiger exhibit. The animals have fountains and such to play in, and are amazing to behold. Besides that, take a trip over to the MGM Grand, and see their lion habitat. The best part about this exhibit is the clear tube that goes through the center, giving you the feeling of being surrounded by these big cats: frightening to some, exhilarating to others. Also, you can see the descendant of the original MGM lion!
